1. About Baby Kangoo

Baby Kangoo is a digital service designed to help parents, guardians, and caregivers record and organize memories, milestones, development information, journal entries, moods, stories, and related family content.

Some features may use artificial intelligence to generate stories, summaries, prompts, or general developmental insights.

Baby Kangoo is not a medical service and does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or professional healthcare advice.

2. Who may use Baby Kangoo

Baby Kangoo is intended for adults.

You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement in your country or region to create and manage a Baby Kangoo account.

Baby Kangoo is not intended for children to independently create or manage accounts.

If you add information about a baby or child, you represent that you are authorized to provide and manage that information.

3. Your account

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate account information
• Maintaining access to the email address connected to your account
• Keeping your account secure
• Activities performed through your account
• Informing us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization

Baby Kangoo currently uses passwordless email authentication.

You must not attempt to access another user’s account or private family information.

4. Your content

You may create, upload, enter, or generate content in Baby Kangoo, including:

• Memories
• Journal entries
• Milestones
• Mood records
• Story answers
• Baby or child information
• Notes and development information

You retain ownership of the original content you provide.

By using Baby Kangoo, you grant us the limited rights necessary to host, process, store, display, and use that content solely to operate and provide the Baby Kangoo service.

This permission ends when the content is deleted, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate operational purposes.

5. Responsibility for content

You are responsible for the content you choose to enter into Baby Kangoo.

You agree not to use Baby Kangoo to store or submit content that:

• Violates applicable law
• Infringes intellectual property or privacy rights
• Contains unlawful, abusive, threatening, or harmful material
• Attempts to interfere with or compromise the service
• Contains malicious code or automated abuse
• Is entered without appropriate authority or consent

We may restrict or remove access where necessary to protect users, the service, or comply with legal requirements.

6. Artificial intelligence features

Baby Kangoo may use artificial intelligence to generate content such as stories, summaries, prompts, or insights.

AI-generated content may contain mistakes, omissions, or unexpected results.

You should review AI-generated content before relying on, sharing, or saving it.

AI-generated developmental information is intended for general informational and memory-keeping purposes only.

It is not a substitute for professional medical, developmental, psychological, or healthcare advice.

If you have concerns about a child’s health or development, consult an appropriately qualified professional.

7. Free and Premium features

Baby Kangoo may offer both free and paid features.

Premium features may include additional functionality such as:

• Additional story generation
• Advanced insights
• Multiple baby profiles
• Export features
• Other Premium tools introduced over time

The exact features included in each plan may change as Baby Kangoo evolves.

We may add, modify, or remove features where reasonably necessary while continuing to provide the essential service associated with an active subscription.

8. Subscriptions

Baby Kangoo offers auto-renewable subscriptions.

The available subscription options may include monthly and annual plans.

Before you confirm a purchase, the relevant platform will display the current price, billing period, and applicable terms.

Prices may vary by country, region, currency, platform, taxes, or App Store pricing rules.

9. Apple App Store subscriptions

Subscriptions purchased inside the Baby Kangoo iOS app are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit.

Payment will be charged to your Apple Account when the purchase is confirmed.

Unless cancelled, an auto-renewable subscription renews automatically according to the billing period shown at purchase.

You can manage or cancel an Apple subscription through your Apple subscription settings.

Cancellation generally takes effect at the end of the current paid subscription period.

Deleting your Baby Kangoo account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription.

Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled according to Apple’s applicable policies.

10. Web subscriptions and Stripe

Subscriptions purchased through Baby Kangoo on the web may be processed by Stripe.

Web subscription pricing, billing period, renewal, and cancellation terms are displayed before purchase.

If you cancel a web subscription, Premium access normally continues until the end of the applicable paid billing period unless otherwise stated.

Where applicable, active Stripe subscriptions may be cancelled as part of Baby Kangoo account deletion.

11. Premium access across platforms

Premium access may be associated with your authenticated Baby Kangoo account rather than a single device.

This means that an eligible active subscription may be recognized on another supported platform when you sign in with the same Baby Kangoo account.

You must not attempt to transfer, duplicate, manipulate, or fraudulently obtain subscription access.

12. Restore Purchases

On supported Apple devices, Baby Kangoo may provide a Restore Purchases feature.

Restore Purchases allows Baby Kangoo to ask Apple for eligible active purchases associated with the relevant Apple Account and reconnect them to the authenticated Baby Kangoo account where appropriate.

Restoring a purchase does not create a new charge.

13. Subscription changes and billing issues

Subscription access may be affected by events including:

• Renewal
• Expiration
• Billing failure
• Grace period
• Billing retry
• Cancellation of automatic renewal
• Refund
• Revocation

Baby Kangoo may rely on information provided by Apple, Stripe, or another supported billing provider to determine current Premium access.

If there is a temporary delay in receiving updated billing information, your subscription status may take a short time to synchronize.

14. Account deletion

You may request permanent deletion of your Baby Kangoo account from within the app.

Account deletion may remove:

• Your account
• Baby profiles
• Memories
• Journal entries
• Milestones
• Mood records
• Generated stories
• Insights
• Other content associated with the account

Deletion is permanent and may not be reversible.

Some limited information may be retained where required for legal, accounting, fraud prevention, security, or subscription reconciliation purposes.

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an Apple App Store subscription.

15. Service availability

We aim to keep Baby Kangoo available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

The service may occasionally be unavailable because of:

• Maintenance
• Updates
• Hosting or infrastructure failures
• Internet connectivity
• Third-party service outages
• Security incidents
• Technical problems beyond our reasonable control

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service where reasonably necessary.

16. Third-party services

Baby Kangoo relies on third-party services that may include:

• Apple
• Stripe
• Supabase
• Vercel
• Google Gemini

Your use of certain features may therefore also be subject to terms or policies maintained by those providers.

We are not responsible for independent third-party services outside our reasonable control.

17. Intellectual property

Baby Kangoo, including its brand, design, software, visual elements, original text, interfaces, and other proprietary materials, is owned by or licensed to LUNT PETTERSEN DESIGN.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of Baby Kangoo intellectual property to you.

You may use Baby Kangoo only for personal, lawful use in accordance with these Terms.

You may not:

• Copy or redistribute the service except as permitted by law
• Reverse engineer the service except where legally permitted
• Circumvent security or access controls
• Use automated systems to abuse or overload the service
• Reproduce Baby Kangoo branding for misleading or unauthorized purposes

18. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Attempt unauthorized access to Baby Kangoo systems or accounts
• Interfere with the operation or security of Baby Kangoo
• Use the service for fraud or unlawful activity
• Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities
• Circumvent subscription or access restrictions
• Use automated tools to excessively scrape, probe, or burden the service
• Misrepresent your identity or authority to use information about another person

19. Suspension or termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Baby Kangoo if reasonably necessary because of:

• Serious or repeated violations of these Terms
• Fraud
• Security threats
• Abuse of the service
• Legal requirements
• Conduct that may harm Baby Kangoo or other users

Where appropriate, we may provide notice before taking action.

You may stop using Baby Kangoo at any time and may delete your account through the available account controls.

20. Disclaimer

Baby Kangoo is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.

While we work to provide a reliable and useful service, we do not guarantee that:

• All generated content will be accurate
• The service will always be uninterrupted
• Every developmental suggestion will apply to every child
• Information entered by users is complete or accurate

Baby Kangoo is intended to support memory keeping, organization, and general informational use.

It should not be relied upon as a medical or professional decision-making tool.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer protection law.

21. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, LUNT PETTERSEN DESIGN will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising solely from use of or inability to use Baby Kangoo.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law, including mandatory consumer rights.

22. Privacy

Your use of Baby Kangoo is also governed by our Privacy Policy:

The Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, processed, stored, and shared.

23. Changes to Baby Kangoo or these Terms

Baby Kangoo may evolve over time.

We may update these Terms to reflect:

• New features
• Changes to the service
• Legal requirements
• Subscription changes
• Security or operational improvements

The effective date at the top of the Terms will be updated when changes are made.

Where required or appropriate, we may provide additional notice of material changes.

Continued use of Baby Kangoo after updated Terms become effective means the updated Terms apply to your future use, subject to applicable law.

24. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to LUNT PETTERSEN DESIGN in Norway, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you in your country or region.

Nothing in these Terms removes rights you may have under mandatory local consumer protection law.
